We expect certain standards of our sub contractors, in turn they have a right to expect the following from LJ Construction:
- We aim to deliver consistent work in a consistent locality
- We aim to provide tool box talks to assist our sub contractors to meet our level of quality
- We aim to communicate problems on site and be responsible for solving those problems
- We aim to pay our sub contractors on time and in full
- We aim to ensure a consistently safe environment for our sub contractors to work
- We aim to be fair and transparent when resolving issues
- We aim to support our sub contractors to succeed in their role
We expect the following from our sub contractors:
- To take your own safety seriously and never endanger yourself or others
- To help us achieve consistency in high quality
- To help us achieve consistency in carpentry schedules
- To be good to your word when asked to complete tasks by your Contracts Manager
- To take toolbox talks seriously and to follow guidance from our Contracts Manager
- To read, understand and follow guidance on Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- To be polite to all site workers and be part of the solution to site problems
- To be helpful to our administrative team who are there to support you
- To apply for your work through Site Assyst (our bespoke payment system)
